Our Nursery long term plan outlines some of the activities, experiences and objectives we intend to cover across the year.

We plan our provision carefully to ensure we offer open-ended, stimulating areas that promote good levels of independence.
Outdoor learning Environment
Phonics and reading
Ove the course of the year, we plan and deliver a wide range of different activities that are designed to help the children identify sounds within words.

We aim to instill a love of books and stories. We do this by:
- carefully choosing quality texts that we share with the children
- planning exciting activities around books to bring the learning to life
- ensuring the texts we share have a context and link to either our topic, the season or the children's interests
- Sending home a class bear with a story time focus
"The more that you read, the more things you will know. The more that you learn, the more places you'll go."
